One question per page, answered in the first paragraph.

How much does commercial cleaning cost in Bellingham and Seattle?

A weekly clean of a 2,000 sq ft office with two restrooms usually runs $300 to $400 a visit in Western Washington, about $0.15 to $0.20 per square foot. Restrooms, kitchens, floor types and nights per week move it from there, so we walk the building, write the scope and send a fixed monthly price within a few days of the visit. Typical prices in Washington.

Do you clean during business hours or after hours?

After hours by default, so your staff never works around a crew. Day porter coverage is available for buildings that need restrooms and lobbies kept up during the day.

Will it be the same cleaners every time?

Yes. Each site gets a named crew lead and the same crew on the same route every visit. If someone is out, the lead covers it and you're told before the visit, not after.

How do I know the work was done?

Every visit is checked against the written scope before the crew leaves, and a time-stamped visit record with photos of anything flagged is in your inbox before you're awake. Monthly you get a score.

Are you insured and bonded?

Yes. General liability, workers' compensation and a janitorial bond. Certificates are provided with the proposal.

Is there a long-term contract?

Month to month after the first 90 days. The scope is the agreement; if we're not hitting it, you shouldn't be locked in. What to check in any cleaning contract.

What's included in a scope of work?

Every room in the building, what gets cleaned in it, and how often: nightly, weekly, monthly or quarterly. It's the contract and the crew's checklist at the same time. An example scope.

Who supplies paper towels, soap and liners?

Either of us. We bring all chemicals and equipment; consumables can be supplied by you or by us, and the scope says which.

How soon can you start?

Usually within a week or two of an approved scope, depending on the size of the building. One-time cleans can often be scheduled sooner.

Do you do one-time cleans?

Yes: post-construction, move-in and move-out, carpet and floor work, and disinfection visits, quoted after a walkthrough.

Do we need to be there when you clean?

No. We clean after hours, usually between 6 pm and 6 am, with a key or fob and your alarm code, and lock up behind us. You get a visit report by morning, so you see what was done without being there.

What's the difference between a deep clean and a regular office clean?

A regular clean is the recurring visit: restrooms, kitchens, trash, touchpoints and floors. A deep clean is a one-time reset on top of that: baseboards, vents, light fixtures, door frames, inside appliances and floors machine-scrubbed, and it usually costs two to three times a regular visit. Most new accounts start with one, then go to the regular schedule.

What's included in regular office cleaning?

Every visit: restrooms cleaned and restocked, kitchen and break room counters and sinks, trash and recycling out, high-touch surfaces and entry glass wiped, floors vacuumed or mopped in traffic areas. Weekly: desks dusted where clear and every floor done wall to wall. The exact list is written on your scope. An example scope.

What areas do you serve?

Whatcom, Skagit, Snohomish, King and Pierce counties in Washington, based in Bellingham: Bellingham, Ferndale and Lynden, Mount Vernon and Burlington, Everett, Lynnwood and Marysville, Seattle and the Eastside, down to Tacoma and Puyallup. See all areas.
